Finally finished my proof set

It took me 17 years but I finally got my 1877 proof set completed (- gold). The cent was the last one needed.
Have a good day, Gary

Congrats! Why did you choose the year 1877?

Congratulations! It took a lot of time and patience to put that set together. I know because I once put together a 1913 Proof set, and that is a lot easier than the 1877 which has a few Proof-only and key date coins.
PF58, nice!

Thanks for all the comments.
The reason I chose 1877 was I was building sets of 3 cent nickels, shield nickels and 20 cent pieces and had 3 of the eight already so I decided to fill in the rest for a proof set also. The twenty cent was the first one I got on 2-8-2000 from Heritage.
Congratulations on a very nice - and difficult -set. Cheers, RickO
Congratulations. Very nice set of coins.
