What's up with this NGC three CC set?

Stumbled across this NGC 82 83 84 CC three coin set...? What's up with this? I have never seen it before but why not just get the three coins individually graded? Definitely cool packaging but IMO doesn't seem worth $900? Am I wrong? How would ya'll grade these coins in the picture?

From the images; they look high grade, despite the fact that no numerical grade was given.

Hence, I'd not pay a premium for them.

Yes, packaging is cool but not that cool.

I'd make sure it's not a stock photo. Those three coin look very nice. It makes no sense not having a numerical grade on coins that look that good. Something doesn't seem right to me about it.

From what I have read/seen, the generic image shows 3 high grade (65+) coins. However, the coins that are usually inside are MS 60-62 baggy material. It is a marketing gimmick and not worth the prices being asked.

I thought it seemed like a marketing gimmick, I had no intention of buying one lol but dang it does look cool! Clever way to get rid of some coins marked up at a high premium.

It's a stock photo. Seller has ten for sale, four of which have sold.

I grade it around $450. Virtually no chance you get coins as nice as the stock photo.

Whenever NGC holders coins as just "BU", it says that someone (company) just sent a bulk set of coins and paid a discounted grading fee to just certify low grade MS specimens. This way its easy to market them.

Have seen several "binion" collection low MS coins that are certified as BU and sold in bulk/TV shows, pawn shops etc...

This holder has top quality coins, but I believe the real ones are MS 60-61's, not even 63s usually.

Those are very nice looking coins... so I imagine they are not the ones you will receive....No way would I pay $900 for that..... Perhaps 40% IF I had a chance to examine in hand....Cheers, RickO
