2017 P Lincoln Cent. 2500 coins right at the moment.
Real coin is 1916P Mercury Dime. 30 to 40 of them with the highest grade PCGS MS66FB. About half are graded and the other half raw. All MS coins in my opinion.

I was a little surprised myself to learn the answer. For me, the one single date and mint mark coin that I own the most of is 1839-O half dime, with 53 pieces in my reference collection. Without counting, I would have guessed the 1840-O, but that was second at 46 examples.
Once again I was surprised. The one single date and mint mark coin that I own the most of is actually the 1832 (P), with 63 examples. Interesting question, and one that can teach us all something about our own collections. [For some reason I could not edit the above reply].
Probably 1958, no mintmark.

A few years back I bought a bunch of original, solid date/mm BU Morgan rolls stashed away from the early 1970's. There's multiple duplicate rolls of 1885, 1886, 1887, 1880-s, 1881-s, 1882-s, etc. So I'd say 60+ choice BU specimens on some of those dates.
I have a few dozen Banco Mexico wrapped rolls of 1985-1986 solid dated 1 oz silver Libertads. Must be 60-100 each of those.
I once owned a whole roll of '32-D's that I bought from a Denver dealer. Now I have about 5 of these.

As I actively seek excellent examples of Lincoln cents to this day (do not have to be UNC to be considered "excellent examples"), it seems that I have several 1909 dated Lincolns of several varieties.
Six 1859 Half Dimes from Philly in a range of grades. It's my favorite. A one year type with hollow stars that only the Philly strikes have.

For some odd reason century coins caught my fancy at one time. I believe I still have a number of 1900 silver dollars. Another date that I used as a basis for collecting early era U.S. coins was 1830 as it was of historical significance to me.
This looks much better than most of the 66s out there. It wouldn't look out of place in a 67 holder.
The question asked for the date and mint mark, so I guess it can extend across multiple denominations.
I have a mini hoard of at least a dozen 1942 proof coins (Philadelphia) with at least four designated cameo coins (dime, half, 2x cent) and more than a dozen with significant frost that are either raw or just miss a designation (mostly halves and dimes).
Serendipity or intentionally? If the latter, does this issue have any particular significance? Very neat either way...
Actually it is a MS66+ and yes I might try to upgrade it at some point.
I have a couple of rolls of '43 cents...no idea of MM since I have never opened them....Outside of rolls it is probably some date of Buffs, I have a lot of them...Also three or four rolls of 2000 Sacs.... Just too much effort to go through my collection to check for details.... Need a very cold winter week to do something like that

Couldn't really say with complete accuracy. For moderns it's most likely 1959-D Jefferson nickels. It must have been a long, long, search to find the right one. I also have lots (too many) of 1834 Lettered Edge Capped Bust halfs. All the coins in that series were minted in Philadelphia. It's a very common date. Most of mine are in very low grades with issues. Probably picked them out of the bargain bins when I was very young and oh so poor. Just don't remember for sure where they all came from. I do know that they must have been very inexpensive,......like cheap.
2005 proof sets no doubt. Went crazy thinking the new buffalo nickle was going to be something. Was just getting active again in numismatics and was on the early part of the learning curve.
CORRECTION ALERT!!!! What was I thinking? For me, like Coinsponge, it is the 2005 Bison nickel. Philadelphia mint, uncirculated in original bank rolls. I picked them up at a bank in Paducah, Kentucky to use as change for the business. I bought two boxes of nickels. How many is that??? When I opened the boxes they were all new uncirculated rolls. I'm a nickel nut. I was happy so I saved them and put them away. I only opened two or three of the rolls.......until about six months ago. What a difference eleven years can make. They basically ALL developed those horrid black (carbon?) spots. I've been releasing them into the wild but I still have lots and lots and lots and...............

I have dozens of rolls of steel cents, and later date BU Lincoln cents from a large estate I purchased years ago.
Now if you are talking coins I specifically purchased because of the coin and date, 1839 large cents, probably around 10. Of course there are 5 different major varieties, and dupes of all except the 39/6.

It was an experiment.
I bought accumulations of these from dealers on ebay. i was looking mainly for 1956 D/D. i found 4 of these out of 1500 coins. From these numbers i determined that only about 4 million out of over 1 billion 1956 D pennies made are D/D's,RPM 1.
Another cool 1956-D/D penny error is 'shadow D above D'. Didn't find a single one of these though.

I have about thirty 1806 half dollars, used to have more but sold some dupes. No stickers, got 'em before the sticker craze, many are raw and don't have grades.
I no longer have any coins with mint marks.

If you're talking coins with a bit of numismatic value, probably 1922 Peace dollars. If you're talking slabbed, it's certainly 1921 Peace dollars, but not so many as you might think.

You are lucky.i asked at the bank about obtaining some new pennies,2017-D's,maybe a box of 2500.Was told they never get quantities like that of new pennies even though the Denver mint not that far away.Go figure.
