Couldn't resist taking a shot on this one, I just love the reverse on the 1811 dime...Guess the grade if you like and thanks for looking!

Strong VF, maybe XF on a good day.
Gonna go ahead and post the big shot of the obverse too...the over date and die defects are dramatic...this is a later die state than some of the others I've owned.
I will go with 35 but something tells me it is a 40.

It looks fantastic and a solid 40 to me. It does look like it has some minor obverse marks or scratches, but nothing too substantial. Of course, the reverse cracks are really interesting. For comparison, here is my 1814 XF-45 CAC with similar color.

It's XF45 details to me, with choice, original surfaces. I will guess it's actually housed in an XF40 holder, due to the light, obverse scratches (in front of chin, over cap).
VF35 but I don't know jack. Love the shattered reverse!
I'd say 35, but could just as well make 40. Great reverse.

Looks 35-40 to me. Sorry I missed you at Central States.
Some of that stuff on the obverse is clashing.
I'll guess VF30. That is one messed up reverse die.

The coin was purchased on Wednesday and walked through with a few others, I received it back Saturday...a guess the grade with a speculative answer wouldn't be much fun!

XF 40 here.
I vote XF40 and got to say, love that dove gray smooth tone.
I'd probably grade it XF-45, but wouldn't be surprised if it got a 40. I think the very late die stage makes it appear to have more actual 'wear' than it does...especially above the cap on the obverse and at the arrowheads on the reverse. Here's one graded MS-63 from Coinfacts (not my coin)...

At first I thought 50 but after closer examination a solid 45 is MHO.

Parts of it look VF+, from the strike no doubt, other areas look solid EF-45 like the lower right obverse. I want to say EF-40 but 45 would not surprise.

As promised, here is the grade...VF35. I felt the coin was a VF35 with a shot at 40. Personally I like to see more apparent/flashier luster for an XF45. Still a great example of a better date for sure! Thanks everyone for looking!

I love the 1811/9 Capped Bust dimes and your coin is properly graded IMHO. I won't try to upgrade it rather obtain a CAC if possible to increase its value. This a middle die to later die state because the weakness and strength of the broken die on the reverse. Most of the 1811/9 have greater details than the grade because I feel PCGS holds back the grade due to the strike weakness. Nice coin and congrats.
