This could turn into a fun forum game: type in your birthday cert. # and see what comes up. I typed in my birthday, and it is represented by an 1880-S Morgan in MS63. I was really hoping it would turn up a rare date Seated coin, but no such luck! I guess it's better than "Invalid cert. #"
I just had to look for my birthdate, and it comes up as....

My mom's birthday is a 1901 O $10 eagle with a value of $7500.... And a pop of 19 so that's gonna be tough

So I was entering in some Cert #'s in PCGS's verification page when I typed in my birthday and the coin actually exists 05161978 is an 1886 Morgan graded MS65.... So now I have a mission to find and buy this coin ... Does the 0 indicate its probably in an older holder?.... What are my chances? And if anybody here has it ...PM Me
Well, the Pop report says there are 16,519 MS65 1886 Morgans. So, even if you had them all laid out in front of you....it would STILL take you a long time to find it.
Since it's an older holder, there is a chance it's been cracked out and the cert was never turned in. I wish you luck though.
This reminds me of something I came across last year. When I was growing up, my favorite baseball player was Nolan Ryan. In 1991 a baseball card company came out with a set of cards that were the first mechanically serial numbered cards. I happened to stumble across a Nolan Ryan Living Legends card that had a serial number of 0516/7500. My Birthday is 05/16/1975 so drop the zeros and I had a winner. I was amazed that it was of my favorite player too, so of course I bought it.

Nice ... We share the same birthday
Yup great day. LOL Although my coin is an 1882-S Morgan in MS-64, not sexy but it's better than the invalid cert response.

The "0" at the beginning of the serial number indicates that the coin went for a reholder at some point. It could have been a damaged holder or was sent in for a regrade, or for any other reason.
Mine was not one, unfortunately. And maybe its just the paranoid side of me, but I would be careful posting your full birthdays... that's one thing commonly needed to steal identities.

Not good. I have been looking to re-acquire this Barber for a longtime. Had to sell her as part of a divorce and have been trying to get her back ever since.

That coin is in a set named Silverthorne.... It is ranked 18th in the quarter registry type set

It would have made it a lot easier if it was in someone's Set here on the Registry. Contact them, make them an offer not to be denied. Boom, done deal.

I would bet yes. Looking up other numbers, it looks like someone submitted a group of Morgan's in that cert number range.

My birthday is worth a measly 60 Bucks.
No luck here, Ill have to look ATS for my birthday! Would be a neat side project. Good luck!
If I put the birth year first, I pull up a MS70 ASE
Mine is a 1901 nickel, PR63, worth $225....Cool... Cheers, RickO
I found my birthdate using 129 instead of 1209 for month and date. It's a 1924 double eagle. MS62.
Actually, with rounding, you want #31415927 and #3141593 is probably out there too...
I think the chance of finding a specific cert# is between slim and none, but none left town. I.e. it's not impossible, but highly unlikely.

If you get really lucky the PCGS Cert results might turn up a previous Heritage auction that has the "Make offer to owner" option.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Not good. I have been looking to re-acquire this Barber for a longtime. Had to sell her as part of a divorce and have been trying to get her back ever since.
I noticed the previous auction results below but mine had none... Also not registered in a set so its a 1/16,xxx chance for me I guess
