This morning I learned that there was a small coin show about 45 minutes away.
I was not prepared but decided to drop in because I didn't have much planned and this bitter cold snap is just rude.

Wasn't looking for a Peace Dollar but this one stood out to me among the dozens in a tray.
Very inexpensive and It has some really decent crescent toning I don't often see on these.
Carry on...

That is a nice looking Peace Dollar. If they all looked that way perhaps the series would be more popular. To many of them are dull, dipped out and indifferently struck.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

@CascadeChris You are exactly correct! Right down to the dot between the T and R.
Hard to believe you gleaned that from those sub par pics. :o

Would not have even considered that if not for your comment.
    Much appreciated.

If there is a displaced field At the left edge of the crack under the W, your coin might become vam 7C as I'm sending a late stage 7B with a displaced field At the left edge of the crack to LVA soon to have assigned as 7C. So if he agrees and your coin has the displacement it should become 7C. Check the listings in a few weeks or PM me and I'll let you know.

nice simple collector coin. Great example of being selective. Nice details with pretty much a full strike on the reverse and in my view attractive color and surfaces. Good pick up , well done.

Wonderful piece and wonderful Peace! I love when coins tone and streak across Liberty like that. It doesn't take away from the design or date and gives Liberty a "halo", if you will.

Neat piece, thank you for sharing!

    Oh yeah, a report.
Very small show not very well advertised.
Maybe around 8-10 dealers or so varying from quality to junky.
I'd say decent traffic but should have been more people.
    Cheerful and fun atmosphere.
I did notice bullion being bought, don't recall any being sold.
