The first obverse photo is so small I can barely see it. The 78-CC does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling either.
Ive seen that craigslist ad.....been there for months with noone buying those 2 coins....

I sold a PCGS AG-3, 79cc on ebay with a .99 start and ending on a Sunday evening for $86.99 and $3 shipping. That 78cc is a $75-100 dollar coin at best if it's not got problems. That 79cc will not grade.

78-cc has "clown" lettering. 79-cc is better but seems to have irregular lettering of some degree.
78-CC is fake; 79-CC doesn't look right either.
1878-CC Fake.
1879-CC Genuine.
