For those who prefer PPFF aka PP gift, are any of you familiar with using that method if you have a PP credit account or PP credit card? It was mentioned to me by a buyer that he was told he could send PPFF for 59 cents from a PP credit account. Anyone know if that's true? Does it give you any protection?

I don't know what a PP credit account is unless he meant a PP credit card. If it lets him send a payment thru a PP CC then he has CC protection, no?
PayPal credit is not the same as a PP credit card.
True, if you are using a non PP card then you have charge back ability even with PPG..
Just don't make the error of funding from your checking account.
What is the difference?
I believe PP credit is a purchase of an item that you make monthly payments on, like a loan. And a PP CC is just that, a CC. I have the CC, but have not used the PP credit line.

PP credit is a line of credit funded by PayPal, attached to your PP account. It can be used to finance purchases, but I'm not sure about the cash advance feature asked by the the OP's.
It sounds like from what the other person told me is that for 59 cents you can "borrow" from your PP LOC and use those funds in a PP gift payment just like they were in your cash balance or from a linked bank account and there would be no fee to the receiving party. Doesn't anyone know if that's true?
