I went to the January 2015 FUN Show in Orlando, had a blast and bought some nice coins. Then In March of 2015 I saw the new Mustangs and I bought the one in my avatar. I've been adding mods ever since. I'll be installing a Cervinis chin spoiler this weekend. Working on the car and keeping it clean takes up most of my time but I still dabble in coins. I also bought this DJI OSMO thing for taking better videos with my iPhone. That'll take up a few months to figure out.
I'd say 9.9. If I were a "10" I'd be making more stupid buys than I already have made.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Around a 2 or 3 right now. Without wanting to step on toes, I am not happy with what I have been seeing in the numismatic market in the last several years. Add to that there isn't much out there that I see which interests me right now. Have been going to shows to visit people I don't get to see often, not to look at coins.

Usually pretty close to 10, but lately a coupleof things have ratched it down a knotch. Nothing good has come in to buy for the business as of late. business has been decent, but its scrap jewlery and junk shIT.
Been moving a few things around personally, preparing for the upcoming balt show sales, maybe ana, put up a few things for sale, not getting good bites on nice coins(dealer consigned), yet everything in auction I want to buy goes off sky high
I was definitely at a 1 for about 6 years there. The economy and life took it out of me. I've been getting back into things for almost a year now. Probably at a 7 now.
My wife is retiring a year from May and have 10 acres we are closing on next month in the Texas hill country. After she retires we want a well built house in the 1,800 sf range and begin construction a year from this June. As a result I will be going into hibernation from a coin collecting standpoint until all this settles. I am finally getting out of the concrete, humidity and traffic capital of the country ( Houston) and cannot leave fast enough as the growth is fast and furious. Once we get to the hill country and settled in I will remerge as a 9. I want a couple more double eagles but they are not cheap. I also want to get some more nice early dollars. Hopefully the coin market will not firm too much while all this is taking place. I have got three of the early dollars but finding them that are problem coins is proving tough but given the amount of time Since I started collecting them I have been lucky to find the 1795, 98, and 99. I would like to pick up more coins but getting out of this jungle after over 60 years is much more appealing. At present when I look out my windows I see houses on either side of me 20 feet away. In about a year and a half I will see Kerrville eight miles away when eating or on the porch. On a clear day the large hills can be seen 50 miles away from the construction site. The slowdown in collecting is worth it as I am just worn out from everything being a hassle and the summers in south Texas near the gulf coast are brutal.
Maybe a 7. The way my collection has shrunk, some would guess a negative number. But still love the hobby, the history, a beautiful coin.
Love RYk's gallery by the way -he has been to some of my favorite places -the Duomo, Haleakala, Rocky Mountain Natl Park. No coin can rival the beauty of some of those places...

Well....10.....since I was ...like...a little guy. Like in diapers. I'm one sick puppy. It's a hopeless situation. And I don't give a rat's as*. That's what addiction's all about.
Nice. I've been to the Grand Canyon 4 times and hiked down to the Colorado River twice. Travel used to be my hobby when I had much more time. Now that I have little time for travel, coins are picking up the slack. If I ever get the chance to travel a lot again, it can certain retake the throne!
Wow...I looked at your photos and they are absolutely stunning. I mean, wow. Every photo I looked at if I had a print of it at my wall I would be extatic with it. There wasn't a single photo that I did not like. Can't wait to explore your site. If you haven't checked out @ErrorOnCoins photosite, you must. (And no I don't know him).

Hoard the keys.

Good question!
I've got to be at least an 8. Even when I was out of it for awhile and had sold my collection, I still kept my coin books.
Now I'm back in. ("Just when you think you're out, they pull you back in!")
It is tough without a lot of money but I'm very much in it.
Probably I slide between 8 and 9 depending on which day it is.
As some other folks have lamented, it is tough when your wallet is only a 2.
Not going to give up though...
I'm saving up right now for my next purchase!
About an 8.5
Gotta be at least a 9. Not a day goes by that I don't search the web for coins.
1960-1967 = 8
1999-2003 = 10
2004-2005 = 2
2006-2015 = 10
2015-2016 = 1

Meh ... 3?
My son is probably more excited about it than I am right now, but that's fun too.

All right RYK, some of those photos could have been taken from my back yard. If I see any of my house...

Dips to an 8 once in a while, peaks at a 10 once in a while.
