    The curl protruding in front of Liberty's cap looks like a cobra.

    a great example of a classic coin. Love coins like this with honest wear and tare and have worked in commerce.

    I am glad that this thread is about a collector buying a decent coin that he likes and enjoys owning, for his personal collection. I am tired of people obsessing about upgrades and crossovers. The focus of coin collectors should be on coins and collecting objectives, not on holders and certified grades.

    I don't think it's an arrow so much as a few well-placed old hits/scratches (they're small enough I'm not sure I'd call them scratches) that happen to be in a shape similar to an arrow.
