Though a modern, this was a great depiction of the bald eagle.
This depiction not so much, but I love the color.
Thank-you for allowing me to live vicariously through your post. Nice eagles.

Another Modern Eagle.
Oh what the heck? It's lead. I know because I made it with a tinfoil....um..."die." But it IS an eagle. Sorta.!

You're right -- that Ike was freshly liberated from it's original package.
It's got a bit of wear after a year in my Levi's change pocket:
(It's actually quite shiny... the dark areas on the eagle are worn areas & a poorly-lit stage.)
Another defiant eagle.
An eagle on 'roids.
I really like the Eagle design, in all it's variations.... The five dollar gold posted by bolivarshagnasty is especially stunning....Cheers, RickO
All of the eagles are FANTASTIC, but a poor old contrarian like me would settle for a lesser raptor if I had too
This Proof Cameo once resided it my aviary, but it flew away. I miss it.
Probably the most commonly used coin with an eagle in the last 60 - 70 years, and no one has included one? I'm shocked, and it goes to the point of people rarely looking at their change...
