  NT 64 but not pretty.

  I actually thing it's kind of nice, and I generally don't like toned Peace dollars. But this is one of those things where I'd want it in PCGS plastic before I'd consider it as NT as it can be.

  The Splotchy toning says AT to me. I don't care for it. I also think that the seller juiced his obverse picture to make it look more colorful.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

  Might be a little darker in hand but very nice righteous color for a peace. The splotchyness is common with toned peace dollars. For some it is a big turn off for others the rich color will overpower the splotches. I personally wouldn't mind owning it but I wouldn't be bidding crazy money for it which could very well happen

  Very splotchy.... indicates an AT effort.... I am not a fan of any tarnish, and this one is exceptionally unattractive. Cheers, RickO

  Sorry but I find this peace dollar AT and not attractive.

  The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

  The reverse is nice. The obverse looks a little over-cooked to me. No color progression. White on funky maroon/purple color doesn't seem entirely natural.

  I'm not sure about the toning. On the fence. But it looks like there is a 64/65 coin under it.
