Ticket looks really nice in that holder Bobby. I recently discovered that PSA encapsulates concert tickets as well. I may have to do a few that I have gotten signed over the years to the ones that are somewhat valuable.

As for me, I am pretty much starting over in again in cards (sort to speak) as I have placed all my high end stuff in a safety deposit box after years of keeping them in a closet at home. I did this for mainly for two reasons.

1 - To avoid losing out on thousands in terms of if my home was ever broken into. A loss like that would be devastating.

2 - Putting my cards away at another location such as a bank means that I am not as tempted to sell a card as I am actually really happy with the little that I have. Out of sight, out of mind.

With that said, I have been debating what to start collecting and my main focus has been to acquire some Football cards from the 80's of players (Elway, Montana, Marino primarily) or sets that I feel I should jump on before they become out of reach. Also while they are still relatively affordable. Did you know that a second year Montana Topps card in a PSA 10 runs for about $240! Thats crazy. It may not be the most attractive card or set but it's still a second year Joe Montana in a PSA 10.

I just picked up his 85 issue last week. Thought I would now dive right in and get his rookie out of the way. The only other one that would be really expensive would be his 86 issue in a 10 (low pop of around 16). There was one currently up on eBay less than a month ago (listing ended with no sale) but the seller wants over $1000 from the last two sales which weren't even that long ago. One will eventually hit PWCC through bids and I'll try my luck there if funds are available at that time.

Here is a pretty nice looking 81 I just received in the mail today and I am not saying that just because it's mine. I have owned two of these before and the centering is what makes me fall out of love with them. This one in particular I thought has extremely strong corners and overall centering is very good when comparing to most examples I looked at before purchasing this one.

I've looked on the bay, but have not committed the search to see if there is. I know there's a yaz, so I am hoping. But, Dan I've heard Venezuelan Kaats are quite tough!

Eric, good eye. It could sit a little more flat in the holder but it does has a slight tilt but its the best looking 9 from all three I have owned. Overall centering is more than good with me and top to bottom is perfect. Corners are razor sharp which one wouldn't find on many of the 9's. I shopped around and looked at quite a few and this was the best I saw and I am proud to add that one to my PC.

Gradually adding more Ryan cards, particularly liking nice clean Sharpie sigs. I have a raw signed example of this card, and now excited to acquire one in a PSA holder.

Mike - Glad to see you back in the hobby. Beautiful 62 Clemente 8. Thats the kind that I would love to own myself. Unfortunately I dont think theres any chance of a bump. I see what appears to be very slight touched corners. It's so minimal but 62's better look more like 9's if they want to bump to at least an 8.5.

James - great haul and I also agree with Doug, love the centering. Those are prime examples.
