Hi. Welcome to the forum. Alot can be learned from the people on here. Your cert. No. is listed, but as a cleveland commemorative, as you probably saw when checking. Could you post a pic of your walker? I know some the other members will be interested in this.
There is a new doily thread, recently added that gets updated regularly. (The new doily census - 2016)
Thanks asheland, this is a great way to learn the finer details of the hobby. I was told if I send this coin back to PCGS to fix the database problem that its possible it would get put in a new slab, not something I want to risk!
I just purchased a 1947 D walker in a doily holder and was wondering if it is the one you had long ago. I ask because the s/n (9142458) does not match PCGS's data base! The current Census here does not list it either but does have thebigeng as one.
I used to own that 1947-D Walker. Bought it in Dec of 2009 from board member thebigeng. I didn't try to have the slab error corrected since PCGS most likely would have reholdered it. I sold it to another board member, and I see the coin not only survived, but it prospered too. It is listed in the new census under silver commemoratives since the cert number describes it as a 1936 Cleveland half ms64. I have yet to see evidence that the Cleveland exists. There were several similar errors where things got mixed up and IIRC there is an explanation of it in this/the old doily census thread.
Thanks for posting the Walker - will correct that error on the new Doily census - the spreadsheet is updated monthly.
Why is it so much easier to find the old Doily thread and so hard to find the new one??

Can't find the new thread in the search here either... someone show probably post a link to the new thread here if they can so that everyone will see it.
And then probably repost that link every time someone uses this thread instead of the new one that can be edited
