JFK's 100th Birthday

Is the U.S. Mint planning anything with the 2017 Kennedy Half Dollar regarding JFK's 100th birthday? I haven't seen anything written about it and just came up empty Googling it.
Given that the Kennedy Half is already in practice a commemorative as they haven't been minted for circulation since 2001, perhaps there isn't a lot of interest in having a different reverse for his 100th birthday. But the Mint seems to love minting useless coins (presidential dollar series) and alternate designs (state & AB quarters, L&C nicklels), so I can't see how they'll miss an opportunity to come up with a new design for the 2017 half reverse just for the revenue of selling it.
Although the mint missed using the 1993 Nickel to commemorate Jefferson's 250th birthday and the 1992 Dime to commemorate FDR's 100th birthday. They did commemorate Lincoln's 200th birthday with the 2009 cent.

I love the 3 P's: PB&J, PBR and PCGS.

The special 2009 Lincolns were as much about the 100th anniversary of the coin as about his 200th birthday.

"You can't point to any major accomplishments like that for JFK. ". Bill...JFK put us on the MOON!
Kennedy set the goal, but we landed there on Nixon's watch with Johnson in between.
The best moment during the Kennedy administration was the Cuban missile crisis. His worst was the Bay of Pigs.
They might actually attract more interests by having a new series of commemoratives for JFK's many conjugal conquests - like a coin for each of the known mistresses.
I detect something here.....just not sure what.

im wondering if we really want to get into that?
