I feel like that is what this is....I have found Heritage archive records of a similar token selling as '7th Regiment, Ohio Voluntary Militia.....Just really worried about this one being an electrotype shell or something similar.....See my edge view pic to see just how thin this thing is.....Were they all this way? Please shed some light

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
This one is cool in its circulated state because it was undoubtedly used in the field. Oh if it could only talk! Most of the pieces in the big collections are high grade.
The token maker "Stanton" who listed on the reverse made many Civil War and sutler tokens.
Were they stamps...coins...or currency??
