  I had this one, different strike. They can be tough to get info on but starting doing web searches and the info will trickle in.

  The "Link to similar" by jonruns has a token listed with a Schenkman number. David Schenkman's eBay ID is thbco. Maybe you can contact him. He may have some info on the piece.

  Yes, it is a Civil War sutler token that is listed as OH-7-25Ba. The rarity rating is R-8, between 5 and 10 tokens known. The value for a VF, which the lowest grade listed, is $350. I think that this piece falls a bit short of that.
  
  This one is cool in its circulated state because it was undoubtedly used in the field. Oh if it could only talk! Most of the pieces in the big collections are high grade.
  
  The token maker "Stanton" who listed on the reverse made many Civil War and sutler tokens.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

  Another area that I consider very interesting...but it doesn't mean that I want to start a collection however LOL...is Encased Postage Stamps...all relate to the shortage of coins in the civil war era...

  My understanding is that they substituted for coins; a base metal with a stamp that added some value. Not many survive.

  I don't know anything about them myself, but there is a fairly recent book on them that you can get through David Kahn - Link. Looks like these would be an interesting and relatively inexpensive niche.
