  A reasonably attractive coin. I'd give it a 6 on eye-appeal. Should someone have paid for having it slabbed? Probably not.

  A very nice coin that if it had not already been slabbed should have been placed in a black Capitol holder
  
  I think slabs are bulky and take a lot of room, also doesn't show off the coin as well either.
