Do you like/hate/neutral on this 1869 Seated Lib Half?

In PCGS holder...you can guess the grade while you're at it, will post grade by end of day Monday.

EDITED to add: BTW, this coin is fully PL...I wish I knew how to show mirrors, it's really about as PL as I've seen one of these ever.

I believe it is PL. It appears to have significant die polish lines on the reverse, which are often found on PL coins.

Not really digging the tarnish on the OBV 1 to 3 o'clock.

Slight rub on the breast, abdomen and right thigh...AU58+

I think the coin is nice and would guess MS62 for the grade.

    I like it.

Technical grade to me is 58.

    Market grade probably 63.

Not head over heels wild about it but definitely a nice coin

Neutral to slightly positive but for the right price I'd buy it for sure. I think it's been dipped with secondary toning.

Since you asked, I'd say I do not hate it, but it does not rise to the level of neutral for me.

Neutral. I don't hate it but wouldn't buy it.

    Looks 62/63.

I reshot the coin with slightly different lighting, in a feeble attempt at bringing out the PL qualities. Anyhow, with this new lighting you might like/hate/be more neutral than before image

I'm not a fan of proof-like coins that show handling marks ... they are too obvious on coins with that type of finish. Eye appeal of the toning is average.

I like the coin as is. It is not perfect, but most coins are not. Neither are most people, but that's OK.

Looks ok to me up to a 62 grade. But could be anything from a 61-63. Superb strike with everything full up. Somewhat of a rev cameo effect. For a seated half that is neutral/ok eye appeal imo. I always prefer luster to P-L. Never got the P-L bug. PL surfaces often make it a lot harder to figure out if there is field friction, and how much.

I like it a lot. Some of the toning is obviously not ideal but the look is very unique and original. I think it is a true MS coin too.

I like it better as a 61! image

Do die polish lines on a PL coin detract, grade-wise? Normally the grade is not affected much, if at all, with business strikes.

What held OP's coin back to 61? Toning? Surfaces are pretty good and the strike looks great.

Perhaps it has some rub but was bumped to 61 for positive reasons?

    I like the basic coin.

Now, it may be just the photo but the horizontal lines on the reverse shield look "worked." They are not horizontal! Tell me it ain't so.

Neutral-plus. Slightly positive, I guess. Like oih82w8, I'm not a huge fan of the obverse toning from 1:00 to 3:00, but could live with it. (PS- I also get the feeling that, viewed from a different angle, that might not be so unappealing?)

Otherwise, I like it, and I think the PL surfaces compensate for its lesser attributes.

Very nice for a 61, but I do agree with the grade.

I'm somewhere betwixt neutral + and fully liking it. The uneven toning on both sides is just a tad distracting to me, especially the clump on its obverse NE quadrant which may have blocked it from receiving a slightly higher grade.
I never thought that growing old would happen so fast.
