1873 CC Trade $1 - expert opinion requested (Grade in first post)
I'm trying to decide whether or not to submit this one for Reconsideration Service. Its got a sharp strike with great details, but the luster is obscured by its "originality". It's in an older Gen 8 holder. What's your grade opinion?
It's an XF45 with a green bean. I think its got low AU details but the skin has held it back. Still, I think it would have a decent shot at 50 today, and maybe a 53 if the grader was feeling especially generous...
TIA,

It's not going anywhere.
A couple of you have hit the nail on the head. I'll reveal the current grade a little later - I don't want to affect the objectiveness of the opinions. I will, however, confess that it does have a bean...
