Really tough to say by the pics, but I think I'm seeing nearly full luster on the obverse. 58, maybe even mint state? Promising, but I'd want to see it in person.
Be the pics what they are, that coin has AU details for the date at least. Doesn't sound like any of us can tell what we'd want to about the surfaces from here. So -- what do you see? And what did the graders say?
I say cleaned--XF details. And I surely don't like that "cold sore" spot on the corner of his mouth. It's the first thing I noticed about the coin. BTW--I LOVE these coins

How would you grade this 1809 Capped Bust Half?
I'd tilt and rotate it in good light, look at it with magnification, and compare what I see to pictures in grading guides and my own experience.
