.

Really tough to say by the pics, but I think I'm seeing nearly full luster on the obverse. 58, maybe even mint state? Promising, but I'd want to see it in person.

Pardon me but the pix are terrible. Color, focus, lighting. My best guess is 50. Maybe 53.

Terrible pictures. Looks to be somewhere between XF and AU.

AU 50 ish but there's some shine that's troubling so it might be cleaned.

Pics make it look like a cleaned AU, but it may be Ok - sorry - my photo skills aren't that great either, so I can sympathize with you.

Compromise grade of 50, but echo above comments. Obverse looks better, reverse 45 or 50 or better with strike issues.

Be the pics what they are, that coin has AU details for the date at least. Doesn't sound like any of us can tell what we'd want to about the surfaces from here. So -- what do you see? And what did the graders say?

I'd tilt and rotate it in good light, look at it with magnification, and compare what I see to pictures in grading guides and my own experience.

    Coin looks AU from here

I say cleaned--XF details. And I surely don't like that "cold sore" spot on the corner of his mouth. It's the first thing I noticed about the coin. BTW--I LOVE these coins
