If I am not mistaken, PCGS started on 3 February 1986. So...Happy Anniversary PCGS!
David Hall was a visionary and I congratulate him on the success!
I remember being in Hawaii at the time and having to submit through dealers on 'the mainland.'

Does anyone know what the very first coin that was graded and slabbed was? Is it still in its original slab?
there was a thread that mentioned it recently. i think it was a white insert rattler with some pics from a show of a display for them.
gratz pcgs, 1,000,000 collectibles certified per year average with countless more in details/counterfeit etc. probably another 20% on top of everything.
.
Au contraire. The current prong holders are the best PCGS has ever made. Kudos!
