Bought it raw real cheap a few weeks ago. Looks even better in hand. Opinions? Guess the grade.

The strike is a little weak judging by the complete lack of step detail and the pock marks on the cheek (which are typically flaws in the planchet that were not smoothed out by the soft strike). However the fields are super clean and free of contact marks, especially on the obverse. I give it a 65 for strike and a 67 for surfaces, so a 66 overall.

I'm thinking 65 because of strike.
edited to add... Looked it up. Consider it an early Birthday gift. No way that grade is that mushy on the reverse.

And this statement is predicated on my own submissions- including some that did very well and those I thought would do well and did not.

Great eye appeal, decent surfaces and soft strike.

Good Catch. I was wondering who made the population grow.

OINK, I feel like I've pointed this out to you before. PCGS has ALWAYS considered color. It is in their grading guidelines.
