The Walker has a tiny luster break on the breast. Look at that very carefully. You seem to have shot this pic with diffused light and if there's cartwheel to be seen, I'm not seeing it.

If it's there, the coin probably goes MS 65 ( neck, breast, left field eagles wing all show hits) so I'd say worthy of an Economy Submission.

The Quarter looks AU 58 to me. Again, worth an Economy submission.

The Walker picture is hard to tell what the coin looks like, but I think the strike is very nice. I'd submit it for a 64/65.

The obverse toning on the quarter may get an environmental damage NG? Otherwise it's a 58.

The 1936 half dollar looks to me like it has been mildly polished. So it would not be worth submitting.

The 1856 quarter looks to have AU-58 details, but it may have also been cleaned at one time. Probably not a high enough value on it to make it worth submitting. Not a bad coin, though.

I'd give that Walker a bath first, that haze will cost at least one grade.

I think they've both been polished. Both have nice AU detail but I don't think either is unmolested.

Both coins are bad, but the Walker is awful.

The walker in not mint state, regardless of what other problems it may or may not have (hard to tell from the photos provided).

That alone would preclude me from submitting a common date like a 36P, as the cost may exceed the value.

Neither better than 55/58 imo. The Walker has a sizable rub down the eagle's neck. Just on what I see I wouldn't submit them without getting a 2nd opinion or two at your next local show. Grading fees and postage are precious. Don't waste them.

Both coins look cleaned and retoned. The Walker is not worth submitting. The Seated quarter may be worth it even though it will likely come back in a genuine holder.

    Walker: definitely not.

Seated: maybe, has decent details, but looks cleaned.

    Look cleaned.

I see nothing about them that makes a details holder worth the cost.

I dunno. The photos make it very difficult to evaluate the surfaces. To my eye both coins look cleaned. The Walker looks like it has rub at the very least and the fields show no life at all - dipped to death or polished or both. The quarter also looks like it has unnatural surfaces, like a polished coin that has partially retoned in an unattractive, spotchy way.

The walker was pol, the other maybe. I would try to find two better coins but it's your $$$$ you do what you want to do with it. image

The Walker has a really good strike, notice the left hand thumb separation, but I agree with the aforementioned, they would warrant "details" grades. They would be great album coins!

Both photos are badly lit but I suspect both coins have been cleaned. Don't waste money submitting them.

Walker is AU details, cleaned and/or polished. Quarter looks a little better, but I think it's also an AU details coin.

Neither are really worth submitting... I would keep them for album coins... Cheers, RickO
