The other cert# does not work
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

The second number does not come up yet using cert verification.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
that were toned over. Not my series though.

The 2nd specimen on that last link is much cleaner. Now that looks like an all there, solid MS67, maybe even a higher end specimen. The mushy denticles on each side could be considered a distraction to some. No comparison between those two imo. I like the overall look, cleanliness, and eye appeal of the 2nd (Coin Facts) specimen. There's possibly a fingerprint remnant in the right obv field but it's nicely blended. I'd be a proud owner of that one.
Interesting that 9 MS67's and 2 MS68's have been stickered for this type. That sort of suggests about half from each service.
CAC pop
Just with that horizontal field scrape/gouge coming off Liberty's right elbow, then I don't see it as any better than a lower end MS67. I wouldn't be comfortable buying it as a 67 considering how fussy PCGS is on half dimes. MS67's usually look flawless. Some light marks in the right obv field too. Reverse looks ok.

The OP coin and the 2nd specimen in coinfacts are the same coin, just different pictures if im not mistaken.

The first picture on the Coin Facts page is the same coin. And that field hit looks much more "significant" in that enlarged photo. Look to right of it on that same page for a totally different PCGS MS67.

Ah, thank you for clarifying.

Which do you own?
They own the ex-Wabbit2313 MS66+ gold cac coin that just got upgraded to 67 (see earlier post this month). It would appear to be distinctly nicer than 1 of the 2 PCGS MS67 coins pictured in this thread. It has the same obv denticle weakness as one of those. I think it's a tossup between the two best of these 3 - they both look very similar to me.
PCGS shows 8 of these in MS67 (both varieties) and a MS68. So it would seem there's probably more than just 3 of these remaining in MS67 holders. The PCGS price guide only shows a jump of 13% from a 67 to 67+. So that's a very small range....probably because there's already a MS68 priced. Even the jump from 67 to 68 is on the smaller side at +60%.
