Went to downtown Los Angeles today to find a gold braclet and found

Yes, I found one......I needed it for my watch. But I forgot to bring it so I'm going back tomorrow to have them put the watch and new 21k solid gold bracelet together. Got a smoking price on it as they gave me melt price

I've seen many gold eagle fractionals in slabs that apparently get toned from them for some reason.
It tends to be a nice, warm toning from what I've seen. It's always a fun twist in collecting when storage methods tone coins.

It tends to be somewhat orange but not altogether unattractive. Can really stand out when amongst untoned gold pieces.
I've come to appreciate the original toning on some private gold coins - more silver than the US mint versions so more opportunity to tone different colors.
It makes people that are used to dipped gold nervous.

Your a good sport buddy! Sorry about the harsh comment, I had my kid brother in town last night and we were drinking way too much. That and I lost a little change on Sparty plus the ten points in that game
