I thought it would be fun to see what people were planning on doing in 2016. Feel free to discuss why you feel this way.

I don't see any compelling reason to buy when just about all commodities remain in the dumpster. I'm in for the occasional one-ounce silver coin if I like the design. (Example: 2016 Australia Wedge Tailed Eagle.)

Agreed. Would rather buy as it's rising than try to catch the freshly sharpened falling knife. There's absolutely nothing that would compel me to unless it was a collectable item that I needed for my collection. Obviously speaking about collectables. ASE's and generics are a complete after thought to me these days.

When a "world event/financial event" happens that SHOULD cause a reaction of the value rising, it does the opposite more often than not now. There might be an upward blip for a few days, but nothing that remotely breaks the trend of the last 4+ years.

Also agree on needing at least 3 more choices which would be:

    Buying and selling

    Only Collectable PM's

    Only Generic PM's

I didn't vote because these options aren't an option.

Same here. I'd be crazy not to take advantage of these fire sale prices for PM's.

If polls are any indications, as in the past the majority has been wrong, expect another year of disappointments.

I sold all my PM paper and a lot of the metal a few years ago. I've been waiting for under $1000 type prices and then I would be a buyer.

Will be purchasing TPG pre-1933 gold semi-numis when the price is right.

Made some nice buys , at the bottom, guess I was lucky, OR patient.

Won't ever sell anything, I may do a trade, if beneficial.
