I've had this one a while now but finally had it encapsulated this year. This may be my best piece. But it's not my highest graded.
I'll add a second prize piece, also a long-time holding and encapsulated at the same time. An English rendering of the classic Mexican design (engraved by William Wyon and with his initials as Assayer).
Bidask, I have the companion MS67 2 Pesos to your MS67 1 Peso! The obverse die even appears to be identical. That is a great looking coin and I suspect a top pop .

The semi-prooflike surfaces attracted me to this 1861 MO CH 2 reales when I first saw it, circa 1974. Nearly 40 years later, I submitted it to PCGS, which graded it MS66.
This was another 1970's purchase, now residing in a MS64 PCGS slab.
I really like the toning on your 1861 2R. They sure do come nice, don't they? I recall reading about a hoard of these years ago, which accounts for their availability.
Marc, I'll second the awesomeness of the toning on your 1861 Mo CH 2R. A winner -- super nice coin! Would this qualify as an extreme example of that 'pullaway' toning that has been discussed here in the past?

As much as I spent much time looking at lots on site at the NYINC, I missed this one at lot viewing. Figured I would take a chance.

IMO, this 1911 Peso is undergraded by 2 points.
