I've had this one a while now but finally had it encapsulated this year. This may be my best piece. But it's not my highest graded.
I'll add a second prize piece, also a long-time holding and encapsulated at the same time. An English rendering of the classic Mexican design (engraved by William Wyon and with his initials as Assayer).
Bidask, I have the companion MS67 2 Pesos to your MS67 1 Peso! The obverse die even appears to be identical. That is a great looking coin and I suspect a top pop .
(Sorry for the huge images.)

The semi-prooflike surfaces attracted me to this 1861 MO CH 2 reales when I first saw it, circa 1974. Nearly 40 years later, I submitted it to PCGS, which graded it MS66.
This was another 1970's purchase, now residing in a MS64 PCGS slab.
I really like the toning on your 1861 2R. They sure do come nice, don't they? I recall reading about a hoard of these years ago, which accounts for their availability.
Marc, I'll second the awesomeness of the toning on your 1861 Mo CH 2R. A winner -- super nice coin! Would this qualify as an extreme example of that 'pullaway' toning that has been discussed here in the past?
As much as I spent much time looking at lots on site at the NYINC, I missed this one at lot viewing. Figured I would take a chance.
Let us know how you like it when it arrives. I was tracking it but chickened out on bidding because I couldn't view it in hand. I hope it's really nice!

These coins are unreal. If you ever publish a book with your coins I want the first copy.

IMO, this 1911 Peso is undergraded by 2 points.
And, this 1913 1C is just the type of pristine copper I love to look at and collect.

Currently, I am most partial to these raw Libertads that will someday make their way to our host:

They belong to Jeff, the cecro dude right before my post of which I only link-ified HIS two babies - which are rather nice!

This one matches closest to a 67 example (PCGS) sold last April.
1882 Mexican 5 Centavos Die Cap Mint Error.
Dated on the outer wall with an attached interior lamination.

It's the only Mexican piece I own.
I know a mini hoard of these came out a few years ago, but they got snapped up fast.
