    The answer is yes. The 1942-D 2 over 1 dime is not nearly as obvious as the Phildelphia version.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.     I would much rather own a 42/1 philly. All 5 digits visible. Worth the price. I think the Denver is overrated, and would have use for one. Good eyes if it came from scrap. Trade it for a philly!!
