    A better question is how much could you get for it if you sold it? If it's below spot, it's not likely a great deal unless spot pops.

    Are any PMs a good buy if spot doesn't pop? We just saw in the last 2 months what happens to ASE'S when spot doesn't pop. Folks paid 5 over for something that is now 2.50 over. That's a 15% loss on principle. Ouch!!#

    And we also saw that if you paid $2.50 over before the premium pop that you could have done well WITHOUT spot popping much, tho that is more the exception than the rule. But generally you need PM spot price/s to pop to make money. Same with stocks if you actually buy shares of stock.

    IMO they are no better or no worse than any of the other bullion houses. I've had good fortune with all of the ones I've dealt with. The only thing that matters is price at the time I'm buying.

    coincidence. These retail bullion dealers don't play the forecasting game, they play the volume game. Not to say their wholesaler, who most likely gave them a great price on the product, isn't forecasting.
