Structural engineer and car artist. Mostly high end houses in Los Angeles and classic cars. Both careers going well. They balance each other nicely. The painting is a great way to relax after deal with the city, contractors, architects and clients. My art is all over the world now. Which is pretty cool to be able to say. I will also have a few pieces shown in the next issue of Hemmings.

I'm a hotel night auditor. From 11:15 PM until the breakfast crew arrives at 5:15 AM, there's only one staff member on duty in the place... me.

I used to work in some very high-end five-star resorts (served a few foreign heads of state, some movie stars, and even one monarch back when I was a waiter), but now I am comfortably ensconced in a more casual (but still classy) midpriced hotel which has only 85 rooms.

PS- I've worked in hotels in one capacity or another since 1987. In 1989, I was gonna marry this gal and asked for her father's blessing. He said my hotel job (I was a waiter at the time) was "not a real career", and refused his consent. Luckily that marriage never happened and I never got him for a father-in-law. But more than a quarter of a century later, as I approach fifty, I'm still in the hotel business. Maybe I'm not pulling down the big bucks (never have and never will), but you can't say it hasn't been a career for me.

Yes Comerica park sit in back of it, along with an old dinner that was moved to, lots of building came down next to the theater . I remember when home-less people were living in the building that were coming down, let along the 36th district court is next to the theater too . Everyday at 3:00 P.M. jail let out, you would be surprise what ladies will do for a smoke .. How that drove me crazy ...
