Probably got to be too much of a hot potato. This happens with some of the flame wars or controversial threads. I'm not surprised.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Just add you're comment. Mine is jabbass his sister, and that guy from WA that was trolling your thread are all the same people.

Interesting. I wonder if the, uh, "alleged" perp complained and our hosts simply closed it down to make that particular headache go away.

JClovescoins certainly did nothing unprofessional or threatening IMHO. I did not view the thread in the past day or so, possibly some content was added by a poster that was deemed unacceptable?

Regardless, he and others here accomplished the task of exposing one very sick individual (figuratively speaking...unless 'lil sis' is on bedside deathwatch again image ). I am grateful for that.

Besides wanting to add a comment to
his thread, I wanted to see if his name
was revealed. I've been burned once
    before by Danny May silvereagle.

I can't find the original thread that was locked. Can someone post a link so we can see what happened?

So starting another thread on the topic may not be a great idea... Just saying...

I don't think there was anything wrong with the thread (warning others about a forum member who used the BST to rip off a fellow forum member) other than a troll posting that it would be a waste of time to try to get your money back and there's nothing you can do about it in a very disrespectful and condescending manner. If the thread was truly objectionable our hosts would have deleted it. I'm concerned that if there are too many crooks using the BST to rip people off (second time in the past few weeks),PCGS could shut down the BST Forum like they did the Open Forum. I like the BST and have had many great transactions with many fellow forum members and I'd hate to lose it. That said, I appreciate when someone who is ripped off warns others---it certainly helps to keep people honest.

Wow, this guy is a serious oxygen thief. As suggested, jcloves should go on all of the sites he has scammed people on and see if you can get information from people that have donated or had transaction with him. You already have plenty for the postal inspector to start an inquiry, but there is probably enough trail to get this guy a paid vacation.

Unless there is a new development, nothing more needs to be said.

DW has come on here in the past and made it pretty clear that outing threads are not allowed.
Super sorry to hear that there are scumbags working the bst, but it is pretty much a buyer beware marketplace, not policed by pcgs...

My advice to anyone who want's to use it is to borrow from the old days here on the forum and start building your own circle of trust.
Make deals ONLY with members whom you are comfortable with.

In the past, it wasn't unusual for bst selling newbies to ship first, and get paid after coins were received...I doubt very many newbs will want to
do business this way, but it's the only way I'd EVER buy from one of these guys !

Once again, really sorry to hear about your troubles, but I'm pretty sure that notice has been served and you'll probably need to keep the
pitchfork threads off the forum, it's not really the kind of thing our hosts want to see here I believe.

On the bright side, it looks like CAC threads are now allowed to keep rolling right along ! image

Wow.... that thread certainly went wild..... Hope the OP gets satisfaction.... the perp, in this case, seems to have many, many schemes going.... too bad, I like the BST, have used it many times with no issues at all.... hope to continue. Cheers, RickO

I believe our hosts felt the thread had served its purpose and run its course. As do I.

I will add a brief comment, and will add nothing else until all is resolved.

The appropriate authorities have been notified and I strongly suspect action will be taken. I have a solid case, and this is a matter of principle more than it is a matter of finances. At least to me.

I've had ten excellent deals on the BST before I decided to do this particular transaction. I take responsibility for not searching his name online, not checking with his named references before (there were two but they were petty deals -unbeknownst to me at the time), and paying by Paypal personal payment. However, that only indicates that I was trusting and was not cautious. What he committed is a federal crime and offense.

Regardless of what this particular shyster did, I still like the BST and will trust others as there a lot of great and supportive people on here!

Thanks all! I am not going to publicly post anymore about this ordeal because I don't need him knowing how I am handling it until the authorities make contact with him. This will be a very easy case to prove.

Read the thread. The name was revealed and it wasn't Danny May
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
