2nd Cherry pick of the Year, Indian Cent

Images are quite bad with my point and shoot skills under fluorescent light. Great luster and color in hand vivid red/brown with hints of blue in hand. Once I had all the PVC off I was quite happy to see were the feather was pointed. My guess is 64 but I don't work with Indians often.

Here is my 64 type1 for reference but slightly different color. There is a type1 and type2 on this date.

I think PCGS will call it a 58. A premium worthy one though.

I agree with AU58, but I worry that PCGS will notice that little area of PVC damage on the last feather. I guess we shall see when the OP's grades come back. It's a great coin, though!

if it straight grades, which I think it will, the coin should grade 64 or 65.

Those of you calling the coin AU are being brutally strict. This coin has no circulation wear, and very few marks of any kind.

Not 64 and if you ask Rick Snow he will tell you most of these have doubling on the obverse.

Arrived home from Germany this morning at 3:30 AM. Not much has changed for me just havent been buying coins. This piece just came back from PCGS as a MS64RB still could see it as a 65, might try this piece again in the future.

Thanks. Im quite proud of this one. Im sure it was brilliant red when placed in the old flip i purchased it in. So I consider it a cherry pick and a save. Many other coins did not survive unscathed.
