    I'll get the ball rolling.

A "does this coin looked cleaned" thread will pop up at least twice a week.

My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.

As both a featherless biped, having two ears, two eyes, two legs, two arms, one mouth and ten fingers, and being pigmentation deficient and challenged as well as a person of non-color, I enjoy the study of orbicular and round objects and entities otherwise known in some circles as "coins" from the historical perspective as well as their relevance in the larger culture, conjecturing how they may have been employed in the past in commercial as well as purposeful activities.

I helped Realone with an auction preview once - he sent me a nice certificate for a local restaurant - thought it was a very nice gesture.

He could be a bit obtuse at times, but I always got along with him fine, and I really
admired his collection and passion for the hobby. He joins a long list of people I wish
    were still kicking around here.

When one is explaining the value of a new coin vs the wife's new purse, the investment argument for the coin carries little weight.

    eBay is terrible.

Laura Sperber is strongly opinionated and makes typos and grammatical errors.

Copper is meant for the weekends only.

Coin Dealers like to drink and spill mustard on their shirts.

    Stacks needs a new website.

This post may appear twice, or can't be viewed right away, due to the PCGS boards.

Grading from a photo has its problems, but you can guess the grade if you like.

People should be reminded of the forum rules frequently by other posters.

Someone should be reinstated and no longer "bammed". Additionally, some members are missed and/or missing for various reasons.

If you post an error coin someone will question that it left the Mint accidentally and/or was produced accidentally.

    You might be an "alt".

There is a strong possibility that a Stella is in a California landfill.

You probably meant to post something on the BST but posted here instead.

This thread is useless without pictures.

"Pennies" shouldn't be made anymore because they cost so much.

Buy the book before you buy the coin and not the slab.

    Stamp collecting is dead.
