My current coin collecting interests are: (1) British coins 1838-1970 in XF-AU-UNC, (2) silver type coins in XF-AU with that classic medium gray coloration and exceptional eye appeal.
As both a featherless biped, having two ears, two eyes, two legs, two arms, one mouth and ten fingers, and being pigmentation deficient and challenged as well as a person of non-color, I enjoy the study of orbicular and round objects and entities otherwise known in some circles as "coins" from the historical perspective as well as their relevance in the larger culture, conjecturing how they may have been employed in the past in commercial as well as purposeful activities.
I helped Realone with an auction preview once - he sent me a nice certificate for a local restaurant - thought it was a very nice gesture.

He could be a bit obtuse at times, but I always got along with him fine, and I really admired his collection and passion for the hobby. He joins a long list of people I wish were still kicking around here.
