Early Copper - GTG if you want GRADE POSTED

Walkerguy21DWalkerguy21D Posts: 12,127 ✭✭✭✭✭
This is the garden variety 1795 Plain Edge cent, but a respectable example and an upgrade to the coin in my date set.
These were struck on thinner planchets then their predecessors, as higher copper costs created one of many early efforts to reduce
expenses at the early Mint.
Acquired from Steve Ellsworth (Butternut Coins).

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
