1934 2 feather buff????

I just bought this on Ebay. 1934

What do you all think? Looks like there maybe a very small remnant of a feather. How small of a third feather before it is a 2 1/2 feather??

Dunno, Tony, but if it is a true 2 feather with no part of the feather showing please PM me and let me know so I can add it to my book. I'll check and see if I already have a 2HF listed-I think I do.

Tough to be certain, however, I 'think' I see a faint remnant of a feather there..... let us know... Cheers, RickO

When the light is at certain angles, that inner feather tends to disappear on circulated Buffalos. My guess is that it's a standard 3-feather.

I agree that there might be a very slight remnant but it could also just be dirt or crud. I am still waiting on the coin to arrive.

Maybe. If so it would be a good find. When you have the coin in hand, you will be able to tell for sure.

my experience is the same looking at them through dealer cases from a bent-over height. odd how it does that.
