Well it did circulate in early America. Bought raw overseas and arrived today. Pics are shot with no juice, just lights. Lovely coin and a very tough coin.

Nice coin and scarce. But I think it's a stretch that any coin from Potosi actually circulated in North America, especially a 4 Real (half-dollar).

This coin certainly didn't make its was to North America as I found it in Australia where it did likely circulate.
