Which Buffalo would you crack out for a set?

Both have been in small white ANACS holders since I've owned them. The top one is graded Uncirculated details but net graded AU-50 due to very light obverse scratches that are best visible crossing at the Indian's eye, the second has a small lamination peel on the reverse that is not noted on the holder and the coin is straight graded AU-50 (possibly a little generous but I'm not complaining). The set, which includes several other CPG-listed varieties, is housed in 2 Capital holders, and the majority are in the XF-AU range with about a dozen UNCs and a few VFs, which are gradually being upgraded. The one I eventually choose will be displayed reverse side out.

should be a no brainer
crack the problem noted one...that's a sweet reverse to be showing off

keeping the straight graded one...graded...as that peel/lamination might bar it from ever being straight graded again

all that aside
awesome coins those 35 ddr's

i love that top one...i'd even bet it could straight grade if you tried

This and I need to see the set even more, it is not nice to tease us like this!!!! I wanted to ad that the FS-801 is more visible than the FS-803 but "worth" less than the FS-803 for those who collect these and are concerned with value. I prefer the 801 as it is easier to see.

Thanks for the advice. Here's the link to pics of the set I posted a few years ago. Since then, I've upgraded the 15-S, 1919, 1920 D&S, 1921-S, 1926-D and a few from the 30s. Sorry one of the reverse photos got deleted somewhere along the way. Obviously, the 16/16 and the 18/7D are a bit lower grades.

I would suggest reposting that set with some images of some of the better and hard to find varieties. I say this because we have a good number of people on the board who like buffs and for those collecting that are new would love to see your set. many of us will never get close to a set like that and it is special. Please share it again as it should be seen!

That disparity between Dies #1 and #3 is due to a couple of insane prices paid for #3 a couple of years ago. #1 is worth much more IMO.

I'd crack #1-it's an earlier die state and that net grade will affect the value considerably.
