At least they didn't pay with a BN or RB cent.
It's sad to see it scrapped.
The red cent they paid should go in a museum.
Practice makes perfect & nobody is perfect. So, practice being nobody.

The real dilemma is why the country continues to make 7 billion of them a year at a cost of more than a cent each. To me, that's simply unnecessary waste.

Though it is a pipe dream, the nickel, dime and cent could be eliminated with no negative affect on commerce.
We have deflated the value of currency down to that level.
