Believe it or not, I finally bought a 37-D 3 Legs Buffalo for my collection (pics inside)

These things have been up/down in price over the years, and it seems right now they are getting cheaper and cheaper every week.
Don't want to time the bottom of the market so decided given all the wonderful examples becoming available I might finally find something that matches my taste/look and price point.
Pulled the trigger on this one...had to image it right away. Thought I'd share.
PS. I lost out on the AU58 that just sold at Legend's sale but the price was way over what I would have paid and I put in a strong bid. By divine intervention I stumbled on to this guy

<< <i>This is the first example I've seen that is attractive in AU!
Nice snag. >>
I'm literally pinching myself ... Forget about grade, it's so clean / not hacked up and no smeg on the surface.
I've only waited 10+ years...
If it had been any other date but this variety they'd have been in the CoinStar return tray with no takers.
Yours is a masterpiece.

Exceptional eye appeal, no distractions at all.
That should have gold beaned, imho, but who really cares.

I obviously can't grade these.
<< <i>I've sold four of these in PCGS plastic, all in various stages of AU and they all were lackluster and boring.

Nice! Congrats on "taking the plunge"!
While I don't necessarily support the pricing structure on these coins, its always nice when someone decides that they absolutely have to have one for their collection.

Because they are not really rare. Same camp as the 09-S VDB. They just have the aura of being rare.
