Where does it fall on the spectrum to you?

I'm going to be the contrarian and call this piece a 3. It is remarkable that a Gobrecht dollar could sustain this much wear and not have an injury. It is a classic example of the well preserved pocket piece.

Still I like coins with a bit more meat on them, and that's why this would be a "3" for me.

Sure it's cool, but my favorite part of the Gobrecht is the reverse design with the flying eagle and the stars in the background. On a low grade piece like this one, you really don't see a good portion of that design so I couldn't ever give this coin a 5. Probably a 3 or 3.5 for me.

The most surprising part is that someone wasted the time/money to get a CAC sticker on that one, haha!!

I see it mostly like Bill Jones. It's not one I'd pursue and I'd rather go without than have missing details. However, simply due to the actual scarcity of the issue and lack of distracting marks I'd vote 4.

I don't get the green bean for a coin with this much wear.Cool coin but the bean is out of place for this coin,IMO.I give it "4" in spite of the bean.
