Unusual 2-cent 'love token'

I think a more appropriate term would be 'souvenir token'. Has anyone seen something like this before? I can't figure out what the initials are, or what it's a souvenir of, but it's a neat coin:

Certainly have never seen a 2-cent piece used in this way. Then again I've also never even seen a 2-cent piece counter stamped.

The initials look like FS....and it would appear that coin was carried as a pocket piece for a long time. Cheers, RickO

I think that I have seen one other Two Cent Piece that was turned into a love token. That one was undoubtedly carried as a pocket piece by someone for a long time. The engraving on the reverse was probably very attractive when it was new. It would be interesting to know what event made this piece in a "souvenir."
