    Never argue with the oversized, off center sticker on the front of a slab.

    Flea-Bay seems to have an inexhaustible supply of fools who will place bids on ANYTHING no matter how bad it is.

    Even if you can't spot that the coin and the holder are counterfeits, you should be able to see that the "coin" does not look "Uncirculated." This is a pig's ear housed in a pig's ear. image

    The CPM forum is useless anymore as far as exposing fakes or fraud. The mods (who know jack squat) pull any threads that reference current listings. You can try to join the Coin Forgery eBay group but many of the members have given up trying to report this stuff since eBay effectively gutted Trust & Safety-at least insofar as coins are concerned. I still report stuff but now there is no CCW (Coins Community Watch) group anymore to review it...so most reports are either ignored or not seen until it's too late and someone's parted company with their $.

    We can all relax, the counterfeit PCGS 85CC sold for $653.05. Ebay had full knowledge this was fake, I explained it to them and provided images of a genuine slab. They're perpetrating fraud, plain n simple. Is this a violation of RICO? Copyright infringement? Using the U.S. mail or private interstate commercial carrier to further the scheme. Is Ebay a criminal enterprise?

    I keep thinking of the fedex headlines. (Haven't read the stories)

    Fedex is in legal trouble for transporting illegal medicine from illegal online pharmacies.


    Ebay is facilitating the exchange of counterfeit money.


    Can we get a break?


    My suggestion is to write all you congress people -- re: counterfeit us money on ebay.
