Whats your (Coin) Icon here "worth"?
I personally haven't a good idea since its kind of unique as finest known condition wise and no similar sales exist but I'd suspect between 6-9K$.

I just started getting into Ancients so my current icon is my first big purchase. Bought it from a collector who is getting out of Greek and getting into Roman. He bought the piece some time ago; one look I fell in love. Knew it was nice, certainly nicer than a few I've seen previously. Paid $4.65k for it without knowing much (not many price guides for these coins) but knew that similar examples (from my basic eye appeal perspective) were going for around $6k (+/-) so I thought it was a pretty good deal.
I have sent in a couple to NGC to encapsulate since then for preservation purposes...the icon graded Ch AU, Strike 5/5, Surface 4/5, Fine Style. So it was a good education for me because professional opinion lined up with what I saw with my own eyes...
So that's the significance of it, anyhow.
<< <i>PCGS guide says $185 but I'd think it's worth more than standard PR68 DCAM pricing for the Monster frost. I wouldn't take $250 for it personally.
Gosh I love that thick frost!!!

I sent it in for grading.....by ANACS. I got my 65.
So by the PCGS price guide, it's worth $195. In the real world, it would probably sell at MS-64 prices, and be worth $86.
Hey, I still "made" it.

Picked it from CU's icon menu. I coach high school baseball so I thought it was a good fit.

Not my coin, unfortunately --- but an issue I've coveted for years. Worth perhaps north of $75K in this grade.
Discussed in more detail in this thread.
