Post coins with too much favorable qualities

Post some coins with too much favorable qualities to them, such as too much crust, or too much natural, monster toning.
Any coin you feel has too much of a quality that most collectors prefer.
I'm looking forward to this. image

EDIT: I mean, too much to the point, where the specific coin is now undesirable in your opinion.

    Ok, favorable qualities = toning, crust, cameo, etc etc etc

    Coins that might have "too" much of this favorable quality might no longer be appealing.
    E.g. a coin that has too much crust, to the point of it being unappealing.
    And that is what I ask you post. image

    You can't tell from this scan, but this is a 1925.

    It's the only example I have of the date, so it's part of my collection. My mom pulled it out of circulation in the 1950s or 60s.

    Collectors used to dipped, bright gold don't find this sort of toning attractive - but I do.

    Original surfaces + Strong reverse + Dahlonega Mint + Only Type II Gold Dollar from the Dahlonega Mint + Micro Mintage of 1,811 + survival about 100 pieces in all grades = A runaway price at auction

    "Too much" out of my budget coins are exciting to dream about owning and fit the title of your thread perfectly. The specific favorable quality would also be "too much" rarity in the case of the '13 nickel. image

    When I bought the most expensive coin in my collection at auction, I was looking for the negatives so that I would be able to afford it.

    They were
    - NGC graded
    - No CAC sticker
    - It was not the very rare die variety

    When you are looking to buy at an auction, sometimes you hope that the negatives will work in your favor. image

    Yes, the #1 PCGS registry set for Matte Proof Lincoln cents is going to the auction block. I took one look at the 1909-VDB and knew it was useless for me to go any further.
