Here are a few more examples to add to the thread.
The 1st is a small 0 O.110 in PCGS/CAC AU58 bought on ebay earlier this year for a song. Very surprising.
The 2nd is a large 0 O.123, also PCGS AU58. Bought on BST in 2011. It's very flashy and it illustrates the frequently seen "bulge" or "halo" in front of Liberty's face, a side effect of lapping to remove eagle's clashed wing.
The 3rd is a large letters O.114, R5+ in PCGS XF45. This is an ex-Dick Graham coin purchased from Sheridan Downey in early 2013. I had to dig deep but I don't regret it. Nice ones don't come along often.
The 4th, an O.106 R2 in PCGS AU50 I bought in 2009, is another small 0 variety, the most common of the three (O.119 is the only medium 0). The same obverse die was used to strike the 1829 O.104. And so clearly it is not the product of the 1830 reworked MD.
And the 5th is an O.102 R3 in PCGS XF45, bought from Dave Kahn. It's rather modest but a variety I needed. Lance.
