A star for being original? Part 2
Started on this thread....
I started this as a "part 2" so that the pics weren't buried in the OP.
These pics were the best I could do with the time I had today, I just didn't want to put off posting any longer. I know, focus issues, etc.... Love to hear your thoughts on the coin:
Bottom line, I'm happy with my purchase.

Not that the obverse matters much....

Yours has potential based on my coin's results. Good luck!

The second picture is much better, FWIW.
Is that a planchet flaw, first U in PLURIBUS? Doesn't look like an ordinary bag ding.
Great pick up!
Lance.
Now that's better.
Still not entirely my cuppa tea, but I kinda like it. A lot more than I predicted I would, anyway.
It looks WAY better than the eBay pix, just like I suspected.
Nice job.

Original and attractive.

<< <i>Knowing I am not a fan of tarnish, take this as an honest question... is that really tarnish? In the pictures it looks more like something is deposited on the surface.... just an honest question and not meant to disparage the coin.... Cheers, RickO >>
It's a circulated coin with subdued surfaces so you can't expect the same toning progression to occur as on a uncirculated example.
