We discuss the forum a lot this is just a fun thread. The Infamous could be an expert in the field of numismatics, a wild character, a passed away member who contributed a lot or something else. This is a good reference as to who provided good info in spite of being a character.

It depends on what you're going for. There are a few candidates depending on the area image

As for forum members who posted often in the U.S. Coin Forum (to keep it on topic), how many of you remember Doops and/or Pepperdoodles? They were the same person (Jeff F.). Or their short-lived cloned offspring of DooplePooples? I understand that Doops has since passed away, and many liked him. Then there was the infamous arch-nemisis of Pepperdoodles: DCAMFranklin.

*was. None of the infamous members are here any longer.
I would nominate BiddlesBank. Every single one of his posts was inflammatory.

Ah yes, I forgot about good ol' BiddlesBank. He's still around, so I have been told. After getting banned, he continued his rant for a few years on his own website. That site is still around, although I will not link it here. Much of the inflammatory rants are now hidden on the site.

He also ranted on the yahoo forum and linked his biddlesbank site there. Only problem was he registered that site using his real name and address which promptly got out. Poor RZ

When I read the title of this thread I immediately thought of BNB and his 3 legged Buffalo but Bronzemat beat me to it.image
  • keetskeets Posts: 25,351 ✭✭✭✭✭
perhaps the most inflammatory was K6AZ who had a personal vendetta towards Alan Hagar and Accugrade/ACG to the point where anybody who spoke in a way he construed as non-negative towards them was roundly scorned and harangued by him. if you remember, he was shown the door when he posted some very personal information about another member in an Open Forum thread, stuff like banking/credit card numbers and contact information.

of all the past/banned members, he may be the one that absolutely no one was sad to see go.
